8-year-old Bodhana Sivanandan (ENG) stunned the world with her phenomenal performance at the European Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship 2023 in Zagreb, Croatia.
In the last couple of days, her name appeared in Daily Mail, CNN News, BBC News, The Guardian, The Independent, The Times, Sky News, Der Spiegel, NDTW world and other media who reported about Bodhana’s success in Zagreb.

Scoring 8.5/13 points, Bodhana Sivanandan emerged as the best-ranked female player in the European Blitz Chess Championship 2023, ahead of the Romanian representative IM Irina Bulmaga (ROU, 2439), Slovenian representative IM Laura Unuk (SLO, 2345), Croatian former representative FM Ena Cvitan (CRO, 2239) and other well-known women chess players. Earning 211.2 blitz ELO points, Bodhana Sivanandan came 74th on the final overall rankings in the field of 550 players.
