The 9th ProBiz Cup is a 3-round Swiss team tournament, held as a side event of the 2023 London Chess Classic on the 11th of December in London, England.
Each team consists of one professional and one amateur player, who take turns playing on the same board. Teams can call for two one-minute time outs per game to consultate.
Time control is 20 minutes for the entire game with a 5-second increment from move 1.
In the event of a tie after three rounds, a Blitz game between the amateurs will decide the winner of the competition. If there is a draw, the GMs and amateurs from the opposing teams will play against each other and the first to checkmate wins.
